![]() ![]() Where it is, it requires very expensive state sponsored software to achieve. Hacking directly into an iOS device is nearly impossible. None of us here will laugh at you, but your real problems have nothing to do with your iPhone. ![]() Anyone’s identity can be stolen, even if they don’t have an iPhone (or any cell phone, for that matter). I’m sorry your identity was stolen, but that has nothing to do with your iPhone. AND it requires someone on the “inside” at the carrier who is either a criminal themselves or was bribed to do it. And the only benefit to the criminal is they can use your phone number for calls and texts, but if the do you won’t see any of the texts, and you won’t be able to send or receive texts or make calls. But if that happens your SIM will stop working. A SIM card can be switched physically to another phone, and a criminal can do something called a “SIM Swap”, which cancels your SIM and creates a new one for the criminal. None of what you describe is possible, with the exception of your Apple ID being compromised, and even that is impossible if it has a strong password and 2 factor authentication. ?has someone hacked or remotely accessed my new iphone13 I believe my iPhone 13pro that is less than 2 months old has not only been remotely accessed but also that It has even had someone putting false information or data onto my iCloud account ,I am dealing with a Identity thief atm and believe that someone is trying to falsely and fraudulently set me up,potential for fraudulent activities that they may be doing in my own name,Niw that being said if I look at some of the data on my phone that says it’s the analysticrs and it says hardware used is a iphone12 and I’m on a iphone13pro well forgive me I’m not that good with this kind of stuff but then it says bogus attempts at muiliple different things and none of which I know what they are or am familiar with, and don’t even know anyone whom owns a iphone12 but yet my phones Bluetooth and nearby share are consistently being turned etc as well as apps assessing the mic and or camera constantly,Is it possible that someone is not only funneling data into my phone but into my iCloud account from remote access and what does that mean bogus attempt bc it sounds like it means just that and the iPhone is catching it,also btw I’m not only not that great with this kind of stuff but I am new to iPhones period,I’ve always been with android speciacally partial or used to the Samsung galaxy’s bf I bought this new iPhone 13pro I had a regular Samsung galaxy s10 for the last few years and bf that the s8and 9 edge ,So take in to mind my inexperience with this new of a phone let alone high tech lol,but just if u cold humor me in anyone knowing anything about my situation My remaining doubt now is to what extent is my privacy exposed, as my Apple ID is still connected to the other phone (however, with changed password also for the apple id with the rationale that the theft efficiently can´t use it)? Also, please share if somebody experienced something similar. Obviously, I instantly changed all my passwords for several apps and "erased" the underlying stolen Phone (again via "Find My") - which supposedly should have deleted all my data, media and settings from the underlying phone. I only perceived this development when I suddenly got a confirmation email that "I requested to some PayPal contacts to send me money". which is, according to Apple´s guidelines, only possible via fingerprint or code (for that IPhone generation). ![]() However, somehow the thief could unlock it and, even further, hack my phone in order to get unblock it, i.e. So far so bad, I locked the phone via "Find My". I have the following problem: My second phone (IPhone SE, 2nd generation) got robbed. I don’t need to be the smartest person in the room, I just want my life back. What do I do? Everyone laughs at me at every Verizon store I go to. I can’t even trust that I’m talking to Lifelock. Whoever has been playing the slow game for years is speeding things up. Now my identity has been stolen and all my credit cards compromised. It’s a new phone, new phone number (but stupid tech added my old number as a backup contact). I’ll record this myself and take the $1million but I’m not an IT person. I found the tracking for the split but NOBODY believes me because it can’t be done. We go back and forth day by day so I have to keep up with the passwords. I am telling you right now, my iPhone SIM card has been remotely split and someone is on here with me. Keep in mind, I’m a 50 year old with NO IT knowledge. But I saw it, I believed it, I fixed it last night. ![]() I just got done cleaning a computer virus off my computer that had been wiped and inspected by two years. Say whatever you want, this has happened. ![]()
